DIRECTOR of Threat Intelligence
Job Responsibilities 
• Be the expert at analyzing cyber threats and provide details about the threats analyzed  • Be the expert as understanding the threat landscape and trends. • Articulate security issues, analysis, and protections techniques customers can employ using our client's product against changing threat landscape.  • Provide input into PM about threat trends and propose product changes.  • Represent our client as the subject matter expert related to the threat landscape, changes in security frameworks, and provide guidance to customers on how to achieve cyber resilience.  • Help Professional Services define and deliver value added services in designing security architecture. • Provide insights into forensics tools. • Lead a forensics team. • Act as a client spokesperson and present content at industry conferences, to press and analysts. • Proven ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize threat information.  • Strong background working with industry analysts, trade media, and public relations professionals 
  Minimum Requirements 
• Bachelor's Degree. • Over five years’ experience in threat research. • Proven experience in the IT security market. • Experience and/or strong understanding of enterprise security. • Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs). • Experience with Information Security frameworks (i.e. ISO/IEC 27001, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-37). • Demonstrated hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations. 
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage complexities of multiple ongoing workstreams and to balance the many analytical and execution demands of the role. • Proven track record of developing effective metrics for measuring effectiveness. • Capable of developing content whitepapers, quarterly reports, and threat reports.  • Strong background working with industry analysts, trade media, and public relations professionals • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. • The ability to work independently in changing environments, and the ability/willingness to learn.  
  The following skills and attributes are a plus 
• Previous experience presenting at industry events like BlackHat, Defcon, RSA, etc.  • Publications about new techniques or cyber threat trends. • Virtualization experience.
