Title: Oracle SOA Developer
Job Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Oracle SOA Developer to join our rock-star team in Scottsdale, AZ. Day-to-day you will analyze process issues, fix defects and write code to improve functionality. Ideally your background will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support. As an important part of our team, you will work closely with our DBA to troubleshoot SOA Suite specific issues. Ideally, you will have experience with the Oracle SOA Suite, XML, XSD, XSLT, JDeveloper and preferably a strong BEA WebLogic, Java/J2EE, Oracle and SQL Server application development background. You should be well versed in SQL, PL/SQL and Transact-SQL as well. Additional experience working with ETL tools is a plus. • Design, build and test Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite based applications using JDeveloper 11g. • Integrate enterprise web-based transactional applications to Oracle Enterprise One ERP System (JD Edwards). • Responsibly develop software across production support, enhancement and projects channels • Strong understanding of the lifecycle of technical development from technical design, unit testing to user testing, to production migration. • Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise To be successful in this position, you will have: • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in an information technology discipline. • 3-5 years of progressively responsible application development experience • 3-5 years of Java/J2EE, Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite development experience • Prefer experience in at least 2 full lifecycle SOA implementation projects • Knowledge of the Oracle & SQL Server databases, SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL • Experience with version control systems, preferably SVN • Experience in working a multi-location, multi-time zone environment • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required If you are ready for more than a job and seek a career with one of the most respected organizations in a top industry then we want to hear from you.
