Our client has an immediate opening for SAP Technical Architect position in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
SAP Technical Architect Job Description:
Technical and consulting support of SAP Applications stack, including but not limited to FICO, SD, MM, PM, FSCM, PI, Hana, BI, and various other non-SAP systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle end to end project/product techno-functional solutions independently and provide guidance to team members
Perform analysis of any new requirements/change requests to the solution from a techno-functional standpoint.
Adapt and support multiple projects in varied functional areas.
Analyze the impact of any new requirements on the existing solution
Estimation of efforts for issue-resolution and change requests.
Provide direction to development teas for custom solution realization and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation, go-live and maintenance support activities
Guide and influence team members to accomplish the team’s technical and schedule goals
Manage SAP development team members, external partners and customer teams to ensure successful project completion.
The main general areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
SAP Applications Technical Architecture design
SAP Applications Technical Security
Technical Landscape design and documentation
Technical platform for tools used to test SAP applications
Integration of SAP and related non-SAP applications into the existing infrastructure, including processing hardware, storage and network
10+ years of strong SAP technology experience in multiple business and technical processes
Profound ABAP development experience – ABAP Workbench, Report Programming, Data Migration, Screen Programming, Authorizations, ALE/IDOC, Workflow, Performance Tuning, OO ABAP, Webdynpro ABAP, Enhancements & Modifications
Functional expertise of business processes, master data, transactions & configuration knowledge in one or more of the following areas: FICO, SD, MM, PM, FSCM, PI, Hana, BI;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in executing geographically distributed projects and working with culturally diverse work-groups
Experience in leading teams, including offshore, and delivering successful results
Experience in providing technical and product directions to the support team for resolution of issues
Architect, Design and delivering SAP solutions
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Knowledge of other platforms and applications will be an added advantage
Programming knowledge in any of the following are a plus: .NET, JAVA
